Convenient for users who do not need documentation, or anyone who doesn't want to install a2x.

Thanks, but this option doesn't look very useful to me. Why don't you want to install asciidoc or the yash manpage?

Minimal distros that don't install documentation to save disk space.
I maintain a distribution of software for old jailbroken iOS devices and I don't even have a man program on those, so all my build scripts delete the documentation anyway, this means I can save an rm command, but more importantly save on build dependencies.
